Now that NFTs are mainstream, the subject is inevitable. Web3 has been the latest buzzword these days. So what is Web3 and what makes it so revolutionary?

2021 brought in a glimmer of hope and ushered in the digital renaissance. In addition, the NFTs have grabbed our attention and disrupted the art world and other industries. Although NFTs have been rapidly proliferating and generating a $22 billion market, this new asset class/medium still baffles many.

The recent resurgence of NFTs has been raising ethical and philosophical questions on originality, authenticity of authorship, and the value of art. The controversies around NFTs are not new to the art world. The artists have been challenging the notion and definition of art throughout centuries and further blurring the lines when we introduced technology in the mix.

Many people are baffled by the concept that anything digital can hold any value. Value is as subjective as the taste in art. So what is so unique about Beeples' work when anyone can replicate and download the digital artwork infinitely? What does value mean in this context?
